Urdoxa
“Ur”: from the Greek archê — “origin”
“Doxa”: from the Greek δόξα — “opinion,” “belief,” “appearance”
This interactive artwork is based on multispectral waves. Also known as false-color images, they allow us, through different wavelengths (infrared, ultraviolet, thermal), to transcend the limits of human vision. We perceive the Earth as a direct photograph, when in fact it is a recomposition: a reading of abstract data in constant flux, shaped by our perception.
