About

Constance Godbout is a multimedia artist and researcher based in Montreal. Her work in photography, interactive media, and visual arts revolves around a research-creation approach. Combining archiving, writing, and critical thinking, her practice is rooted in slowness, poetic exploration, and collective memory. Currently completing her studies in interactive media and communication at UQÀM, she is developing a practice increasingly grounded in technology, working with code, interactivity, and immersive environments to reinvent how we perceive images and narratives. Often navigating between the ethereal and the tangible, she seeks to create works where past and present blend into dreamlike scenes—nostalgically familiar yet elusive. Her research and artistic practice explore how memory, presence, and perception shift in an algorithmic world, inviting the public into spaces of contemplation, disorientation, and reconnection.
